Environment, Health & Safety Policy

Stantec is committed to providing and maintaining a healthy and safe work place and to responsible management of all environmental aspects of our business.

Through Stantec’s Environment, Health and Safety Program, the Company strives to

  • Identify and manage the environmental, health and safety risks and hazards to which our employees are exposed
  • Minimize the environmental aspects and impacts associated with the services and products we provide
  • Help our employees develop an awareness and understanding of the environmental, health and safety issues related to their work
  • Comply with legislation, regulations, and appropriate industry standards
  • Monitor and enhance the program through inspections, audits, reviews, investigations, corrective actions, and related processes

All Stantec workers, in respect to the services they provide on behalf of Stantec, are responsible and accountable for Stantec’s environmental, health and safety performance.

All Stantec workers are expected to understand and comply with the practices and procedures in Stantec’s Environment, Health and Safety Program, applicable legal and regulatory requirements, and applicable industry codes and standards.
